Download the  Hot Potatoes software from the internet free of charge and create your own quizzes (crosswords, multi-choice questions etc). The quizzes can be put onto a VLE for students to complete at home or could be used in class on an interactive whiteboard asking individual students to come up and select the correct answer. The quizzes are self-marking so make an excellent assessment tool that requires minimum work.
